Charlie Panayi from Red Squirrel Property Shop is embarking on an extraordinary nine-month journey of challenges in honour of his late sister, Zoe.

Zoe tragically lost her battle with cancer at the young age of 26 on May 29, 2020, leaving behind two young children. Her cancer stemmed from a mole she had raised concerns about with her doctor multiple times, only to be reassured it was harmless. After having the mole removed at a cosmetic clinic, it returned malignant.

In memory of Zoe's wish to prevent such tragedies, her family tirelessly advocates for Zoe's Law, advocating for mandatory testing of all removed moles and skin tags. Currently, there's a lack of guidance on cosmetic mole removals, as stated by The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).

Charlie and his family business, Red Squirrel Property Shop, are personally funding the campaign for Zoe's Law and regularly organise fundraising events in her honour, with proceeds going to charity. Charlie has already undertaken numerous challenges in support, but his upcoming nine months are particularly ambitious.
  • May 14th with Walk the Wight for Mountbatten Hospice, a 26-mile walk across the Isle of Wight.
  • une 4th a 120km bike ride around the Isle of Wight, joined by Joe Driscoll and Sam Fryer.
  • July 3rd Charlie will tackle the 3 Peaks Challenge, summiting Britain’s three highest peaks within 24 hours, accompanied by Wesley Wraxton, Adam Cooke, Ian Fraser, and Joe Hodgson.
  • August will see a charity football match
  • September brings the Tough Mudder challenge in South London, joined by Wesley Wraxton and Ben Wraxton.
  • November, Charlie plans to summit Kilimanjaro alongside another member of the Newport Business Association, Andrew Tapsell.
  • December will feature the Chilly Hilly event, with Boxing Day and New Year's Day reserved for sea swims.
  • February, Charlie's journey culminates with a trek to Everest Base Camp.

Reading through this exhaustive list is exhausting in itself, but we extend our heartfelt wishes to Charlie and his fellow participants as they embark on these monumental challenges.
